Here's my picture from yesterday of Mt. Hermon. The fence around the kib and the inner perimeter road are in the lower left.We had a surprise today, no digging until Wednesday. So this morning we got a lecture on the architecture of the temples and in the afternoon we went rafting on the Jordan River. Yes, that Jordan. It's lush and verdant up here and it was fine trip.
I'm sitting around now with 8 students and 3 bottles of beer. This is a remarkably staid group (except for Paul) but bright and fun. Right now we're listening to Rufus and Chaka Khan and waiting to go to dinner.
P.S. Though everyone is now dancing to Benny Goodman.
